V8 engine and all power is transferred thru a very smooth shifting Cruis-O-Matic Automatic Transmission. Options found on this 1964 Galaxie 500 Roadster are things like Power Steering, Power top, Factory Original AM Push Button Radio and more. This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Convertible was originally sold new in Bena Virginia where it stayed until 1999 and then moved to its new owner to North Carolina. This 1964 Galaxie 500 Convertible had the luxury of living in a great mild climate. In 1999 this Galaxie 500 Convertible received a frame on restoration that is documented with Thousands of Dollars in receipts. The over make up of this Galaxie is very nice considering the age of the vehicle. The exterior body received a full and professional repaint in 1999 and the southern body is very straight and rust free. The under body shows the difference of being in a mild Southern climate verses a Northern Midwest body. The frame and floor pans are extremely solid and this Galaxie also hosts a newer factory style duel exhaust system. The chrome on this 1964 Galaxie is all original and shows very nice only having a few imperfections but then again, it is original. The bright trim again, is all original and shows very nicely.
